I Recently Hit My Lower Leg On The Ball Hitch

I recently hit my lower leg on the ball hitch of my truck. There was a sudden swelling about the size of a tennis ball. I hit it below the knee on the turn of the inside calf muscle. The area doesn't seemed bruised yet, but painful and throbbing. Any subsections on treatment?Will knott desolate?
