I Recently Lost Vision In My Right Eye Due To

I recently lost vision in my right eye due to an injury, however when I walk outside my remaining good eye now seems extremely sensitive to light and Im having trouble adapting to ha ing one eye because of this. Reasons? Is this normal as the eye learns to conpensate for being on its own?
