I Recently Noticed What Looks Like A Black Hole On

I recently noticed what looks like a black hole on the right side of my tongue. It's in the same spot that there was a strange patch of white skin that was there a couple of weeks ago. It doesn't hurt unless I put pressure on it and I haven't bitten it. I don't smoke and I don't drink much. Should I go see a dentist or is this something that will resolve itself?
