I Recently Participated In A Stress Test (walking On A

I recently participated in a stress test (walking on a treadmill). My blood pressure was too high when I started but I was allowed to try it anyway. I was told that during the stress test my EKG was starting to become abnormal. Could this have been cause by hypertension or could I actually have some form of heart problems?
