I Recently Received Notice That My Blood Sugar Was Over

I recently received notice that my blood sugar was over 400 and my urologist referred me to an internist. Is it possible this number was incorrectly written? I only have frequent urination issues due to previous bout with prostate cancer. My girlfriend seems to think if this number was valid, they would have gotten me seen immediately. As it is,I'm dieback with my urologist in 2 weeks.
