I Recently Somehow Acquired A Bout Of Oral Thrush. I

I recently somehow acquired a bout of oral thrush. I was given a statin mouthwash for treatment. Before the thrush was healed, I came down with uvulitis. I am highly allergic to all penicillin deriviatives, so was put on clindomycin. This aggravated and reactivated the oral thrush. So have now been put back on another med to heal the thrush while attempting to continue the antibiotic for healing of uvulitis.
Today I have had pain around the clavicle area and upper back shoulders, nerve type pain; cannot stand to be hugged or touched there. I am a 63 year old woman who has had chicken pox as a child and did not receive the shingles vaccine. Is there a connection between the clindomycin and shingles? Is there anything I can do other than just finish the medicine and wait all this out.
