I Recently Sprained My Ankle, Swelling Has Gone Down Significantly

I recently sprained my ankle, swelling has gone down significantly but there is a red spot that has developed on my ankle, almost looks like a rash with a bunch of red dots.. It's inflamed and it really hurts.. Btw, X-rays have ruled out any fractures
