I recently started bleeding, and it went on for two weeks. I have been post menopausal for about 6 yrs. I had an ultrasound done and was told that I have three fibroids, which my physician was aware of but didn't feel the need to remove because I was in my 50s. I have explained that I get sharp pain that make me jump on occasion. I have hypothyroidism, and about three months ago, I was placed on a higher dosage, .3mg, from ,2, because my TSH was low. I started experiencing night sweats, bruised easily and bad w hen labs were drawn. I also feel light headed and have sight problems seen being on this new dose. Had a TSH drawn Monday, at first the doctor told me he had to increase medication again, then said he was gonna decrease it back to .2mg, however, until I get it, to take the .3mg every other day. I don't know if all this is related to the higher dose of medication or not. I also was told that the ultrasound showed thickened uterus, indicating producing estrogen. I read that that could be an issue because of too much thyroid medication. What do you think about all this. I have 2 4cm fibroids, and one 2.5 cm.
