I Recently Started Taking Lamictal For Trigeminal Neuralgia. Although It

I recently started taking Lamictal for trigeminal neuralgia. Although it works it makes me drowsy and "foggy" if I take it during the day, even if I half the dose during the day, so I only take it at night only. On day 5 I started having very vivid nightmares. On day 7 I developed tinnitus in my left ear only. Could these be side effects of the Lamictal, or just a coiencidece? I have tried Tegretol in the past and it made me nauseated so I was switched to Dekakote and after a month of taking it I still had no symptom relief so I was switched to Lamictal. I routinely take Baclofen for cervical radiculapothy, so I'm running out of drug options.
