I Recently Starting Using The Nicotine Patches And Started Taking

I recently starting using the nicotine patches and started taking prenatal vitamins due to trying to get healthier. I also started tracking my cycles. Recently, I realized I had sex during my fertile days. I have noticed some changes I.E. more frequent urination, increased appetite, and when I was in the bath I noticed a little dark red blood 9 days past ovulation. (I'm not trying to get pregnant.) Could this be side effects of the patch or a result from not smoking?
