I Recently Stopped Taking Bc Pills. My Last Period From

I recently stopped taking bc pills. My last period from my bc pill was 6/21/16, but then I had lite bleeding from 7/1/16-7/3/16. It didn't feel like a period and I didn't realize I was spotting until I went to the bathroom. On 7/2/16, it did get slightly heavier, but not as much as I usually do when I bleed. It also wasn't consistent those three days. I thought it was done, then it showed up again hours later.

My main question is, we're hoping to get pregnant this month, but I don't know if that caused my cycle to start over again, or if I should expect my period next week, and if I don't get it, then take pregnancy tests? Any advice would be great! I don't feel any pregnancy symptoms yet, so I'm not hopeful at the moment.
