I Recently Stopped Taking My Contraception Pills ,right After My

I recently stopped taking my contraception pills ,right after my last period to be exact,and now my period is late for 5 days and suddenly my nipples are getting hard and hurts a bit? What is going on? Is it possible that’s happening because I stopped taking the pills because I didn’t have intercourse. I’m bit scared
