I recently was over in Europe and had unprotected intercourse with a lady I met. After the incounter I became very parainiod that I was going to catch an STD. The incounter was on a Saturday night, and I got tested the following Wednesday for Claymidia and Gonoria which came back negative. I noticed that the tip of my penis was burning a little bit, but I didn’t have any pain when urinating, distcharge, or redness/swelling. I became a little paranoid and went to my local Urgent Care Clinic to speak with a doctor the following Monday. He said he didn’t think I had either Claymidia or Gonoria. He did a Urine test for possible bacterial infections such as prosthesis, kidney stones, etc. He said that the urine test came back negative for infection, but he didn’t say anything about Gonoria or Claymidia. If the tests came back negative for bacterial infection, should I assume that the test would have flagged something if I had Gonoria or Claymidia for them to test further?
