I Recently Was Very Ill With Throwing Up 3 Times

I recently was very ill with throwing up 3 times during the night, with fever & chilling. My question is this, I was very, very dizzy during this and I blacked out twice during the night between vomiting spells, what would cause this? I am still very weak and somewhat dizzy.
