Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I recently went to my pcp for a checkup because of having pain daily. from my ankles to my knees , my elbows and mostly the left side of my neck. my lab tests showed an elevated sed rate. because of my mother having lupus, they sent me to a rheumatologist who diagnosed me with fibromyalgia and ordered more blood work. they just called and said they want me to have more blood work because my beta 2 globulin showed an isolated elevation. what might they be looking for and what do you feel this may mean?
