I Sanded A Wall In My Home Where A New

I sanded a wall in my home where a new wood stud had been put in the wall and after the wall was put back together and then the contractor/friend put this puddy like stuff to smooth out the wall and he left the tiny sander with me and told me I could sand it if I wanted to. So I did on Monday 12 October 2015 (Monday) and by Monday night I knew I was in trouble as my right eye is all agitated. I flushed it with warm water that I put table salt in (guessing this was stupid) and yesterday I bought eye flusher from the pharmacy. It still hurts and looks like I have been punched in the eye, the redness is dropping down lower in my face, the way a bruise in your face does. Should I give it a couple more days as it has only been 48 hours. PLEASE HELP. thank you, Christine
