I Seem To Get A Sharp Pain In My Right

I seem to get a sharp pain in my right lower back that some times the pain takes my breath away. This is the second time in several months this has occurred. I have put those pain relieving patches on and seem to help some. It appears to go away but still have some dull pain when I move. Don't think its my back bone because its basically on the right side and not in the center of my back.
