I Seem To Keep Getting Yeast Infections And My Friend

I seem to keep getting yeast infections and my friend put the idea in my head that my ex could have given me something. I am just curious if any disease or anything could cause the same symptoms as a yeast infection? Monastat has worked in treating it and this is my first one in a long while.

PSA- I haven't been with anyone since my ex and that was about 4 years ago.
