I Seen A Doctor About A 2 Weeks Ago For

I seen a doctor about a 2 weeks ago for sore throat and they prescribed me with amoxicillin and my symptoms went away the next day with a steroid shot. 3 days ago my sore throat came back and is getting worst by the day. I seen a doctor today and they prescribed me azithromycin. I finished the amoxicillin today. Is it okay to take the new medicine now or should I wait until tomorrow to start it?
