I Slipped And Cut My Leg To The Bone On

I slipped and cut my leg to the bone on my shin area and it healed without going to dr . There is a scar that sinks in my leg bout a quarter inch and hasn't hurt me any. Two years after the matter a small lump is under the scar and is sore. I don't think I hit it on nothing, what could this be...???
