I Slipped And Fell Very Hard Into A Piece Of

I slipped and fell very hard into a piece of furniture on Dec 29-really hurt my ribs on my right side. I went to Urgent Care. They said nothing broken but just badly bruised ribs. Gave me some tylenol. A week later I developed a sharp piercing pain in my left hip down to my knee but only when I am laying down. Have to sleep sitting up to relieve the pain, which is now making my lower back hurt. My nurse practitioner said to see a chiropractor which I am doing with no relief. My insurance nurse line said to see an orthopedic doctor. I called them and they said I can't get an appointment with them for 3 months and probably need to see a neurologist. I made an appointment to see the neurologist I am seeing for my restless legs but it is 6 weeks away. I also have osteoporosis, past compression fractures in my lower back, an artificial hip, and have had vertebroplasty at T-12. I am very confused with all the conflicting advise. It's 100 miles for care since I live in rural NM. I am applying ice several times a day. Have any other advice until I can see my neurologist?
