I Smashed My Finger Off My Car Door A Few

I smashed my finger off my car door a few weeks ago, but I felt my nail lift up and i just kinda held it back down. my nail turned black and purple. It still is those colours but now the skin around the bottom of my nail is starting to look more bruised, does that mean anything? I can tell the nail bed is most likely damaged because i can kind of lift it up a bit and it sometimes seems like there is a clear liquid under it.
