I Sometimes Find That It Smells, It Has Often Had

I sometimes find that it smells, it has often had yellow color when I wipe it, and have seen blood. I am over weight and so I can't see the scar just feel it. Can I use an ointment rather than a spray deordorant. It's been 15 yrs since my 3rd ccsection
