I sometimes have an irregular heartbeat. It feels like it speeds up for a few seconds and then struggles to go back to a normal pace. Within the last few months, I've woken up in the middle of the night with my heart skipping a best every 30 seconds or so. The episode lasts for maybe a few minutes and then stops.
