I Sometimes Have Some Numbness And Tingling On The Left

I sometimes have some numbness and tingling on the left side of my body. I feel it in my hand, fingers, tongue, and sometimes in my leg and left nostril. It only lasts two or three minutes and then I'm fine. I have had some problems with my sciatic nerve in the past but that never affected my upper body. Do you think I could have a pinched nerve or could it be something more serious.
