I Stained My Left Forearm While Running In A Muckfest

I stained my left forearm while running in a muckfest 2 days ago. One of the obstacles required me to hold onto a pair of rings in a pull-up position for about 20 second while a carousel carried over water. That night my forearm became sore with throbbing pain which continues today. I have been icing it and taking motrin which seems to help. Should I do anything else?.
