I Started Antibiotics For An Abscessed Back Molar 16 Days

I started antibiotics for an abscessed back molar 16 days ago. I'm currently finished 4 days of flagyl and augmentin. I had been on amoxicillin first and then clindamycin. Root canal was started almost 2 weeks ago and will be completed next week. I do feel much better and am no longer in unbearable pain. Nevertheless, I still have some jaw and roof of mouth pain along with swelling of the glands. In addition, I'm getting these electrical shock type of pains at the front of the lower jaw and under the jaw of the opposite side. Is this normal? I'm so afraid that I'll finish this antibiotic round and the pain will come raging back again like when I finished the clindamycin.
