I Started Having Ear Pain About An Hour Ago And

I started having ear pain about an hour ago and it is getting much worse. it is in my right ear. it does not feel like it is in my ear but it hurts to touch my actual ear. It feels somewhere between an burning feeling to a stabbing feeling. I have had ear infections before and this does not feel the same. Any ideas.
