I Started My Period 10 Days Ago, Which Usually Last

I started my period 10 days ago, which usually last 5-6 days. On day 8 I began passing thick blood clots, they come about every 30min-1hr. I don't not have any cramps and I'm not lightheaded. I am on nexplanon. Should I be worried and what could possibly cause this?
