I Started My Period 15 Days Ago And Am Still

I started my period 15 days ago and am still bleeding. I'm still bleeding enough that I need a tampon or medium flow sized pad. My periods usually last 5 to 7 days with the first 2 days very heavy bleeding and pain. At my age (53), is it time to be concerned and call my doctor or give it a few more days?
