I Started My Period A Day Ago But A Week

I started my period a day ago but a week before I have had nausea and fatigue, and now I am having severe back pain and cramps along with diarrhea and it hurts when I have a bowel movement as well. I am just trying to figure out what is going on, I thought I was pregnant them my period started
