I Started My Period About A Week Early It Usually

I started my period about a week early it usually only lasts for 4 -5 days but this month it lasted 9 days it stopped two days ago and last night I had sex and there was alot of blood its been a good 22 hours since and I'm still bleeding its not spotting its bleeding also its bright red and thick and slimy is this normal?
