I Started My Period At The Expected Date But I

I started my period at the expected date but i noticed d flow was high so the second day i took took folic acid taplet, and my period stopped totally on the 3rd day. My normal period is 4 days. could folic acid be cause. I took lincoln and potion for sore throat medication during that period.
