I Started On Birth Control Over A Week Ago Because

I started on birth control over a week ago because a nurse said I should be okay. in the beginning of April I had spotting and nausea and missed my period in April. took urine and blood pregnancy tests after missed period and both were negative. the nurse told me during my placebo week of my birth control that I should get my period. my question is..will I still get my birth control period of I'm actually pregnant?
