I Started Out With What Seemed To Be A Minor

I started out with what seemed to be a minor cold, then voice went, came back and then the coughing and chest congestion started. The mucous I'm coughing up is green, this week marks three weeks of the cough and congestion. What are the main OTC items I should be taking? My body is tired from the coughing, I stopped taking the mucinex because it just seemed like I had been taking it for too long...I'd rather get better on my own vs being prescribed a med.
