I Started Physical Therapy Yesterday After Complaining Of An Awkward

I started physical therapy yesterday after complaining of an awkward gait and limping following bilateral mastectomy on December 19th 2016. My right leg has been affected to the point where I am unable to walk any distance without limping. My PT instructions are to do 10repetitions of a standing squat twice a day. It seems to have exacerbated the pain and weakness, and I am reluctant to continue. There have been no diagnostic tests yet, and I am worried I have post-surgical neuropathy. I am feeling like I might need to go to the ER since I cannot consult with anyone over the weekend.
