I Started Taking Pantoprazole Sod. 40 Mg A Couple Of

I started taking Pantoprazole Sod. 40 mg a couple of weeks, today in fact. Well the Thursday before that, I had to get some teeth added to my partial. I have had this metal taste in my mouth for a few weeks now. Last night I took the partial out, thinking it could be the metal in that. I called my dentist this morning and he was telling his helper that taking some new meds could be the cause of the problem. Because at the end of the conversation, he told her that no metal was added to it. So here I started this new stomach medicine, two weeks today. I called Express Scripts and ask to speak to the Pharmacy. That Dr. told me that this medicine could cause this metal taste in my mouth. He said it was very rare, but it could happen. Have you ever heard of this? Because if this is the problem, I will not take that medicine any more. It is just awful. Thanks for your advice.
