I Started Taking Metaformin 3 Months Ago Having Just Been

I started taking metaformin 3 months ago having just been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. At that appointment I had told my doctor that I was having pain that would come and go right under my left rib cage. I am a 50 year or old white female. I no longer have a gallbladder and had a hysterectomy that left only my left ovary. My mother who is 73 has had polyps removed starting at age 65. My father did have a history of problems with fissures and hemmoroids.
I have had chronic loose stools since taking the meds. But a week ago I started to feel like something was obstructing normal movement. I go and it's loose and I feel like I have not finished. Today I went with some strain and there was fresh blood on my stool and toilet paper. I have recently , 3 months ago had a bad case of external hemmoroids and felt a lump right inside my rectum. My anal opening feels very tight this time so it has been hard to check.
