I started taking statins about two months ago. First I took Lipitor, which cased me to break out in hives within 2 days.
I stopped taking Lipitor, and have been taking the Crestor generic for about 1 1/2 months now. I am extremely lethargic and my face and under my eyes are swollen with red patches. I plan to call my doctor, but I wondered whether these symptoms might be related to the Crestor as I take several other medicines. My Neurologist also placed me on Cymbalta yesterday.
