I Started With What Looked Like Pimple On My Neck

I started with what looked like pimple on my neck on the right. I scratched it and got a red rash looking like hickey but was weepy then started on left neck and right neck one got dry like leather. I have tried Benadryl and anti-itch cream to no avail. And it has come and gone on both sides twice.
