I Stood Up On A Chair Last Night In A

I stood up on a chair last night in a doorway and hit the top of my head very hard into the doorframe as I stood up. Today my neck is very painful down into my shoulders and feels as though if I nod my head I won't be able to raise it again. I have a lump on my head which is bruised but no other obvious symptoms. Have I damaged my neck?
