I Stopped Having Periods. After A Little Over A Year

I stopped having periods. After a little over a year without a period I went to the doctor and he said my thyroids are not working. He put me on Levothyroxin 88mcg. I had like 2 periods and now they stopped again. Its driving me crazy cause I want another baby. What should I do to get my period back so I can become pregnant?
