I Stopped Taking My Birth Control Pills In May, Due

I stopped taking my birth control pills in may, due to my insurance being canceled temporarily and couldn't pay for them at the time. I haven't started them again because I don't need them right now I guess, but I haven't had my period since June. I'm not pregnant, I know for sure. Why haven't I gotten my period back since I stopped taking the pills? Will I still be able to get pregnant? What can I do?
