I Suddenly Have Several White Scabs On My Scalp. Scalp

I suddenly have several white scabs on my scalp. Scalp started ithing a month ago. Used TGel shampoo nd Scalpicin. Scalp went crazy, itching and flakes. I am 61 y.o. mal, bald. I was using bar soap for years not knwing the drying affect.
Am also using moisturing shampoo and apply Neosporin to scabs. Everything was clearing, but improvement seems to have stopped.
Only have itch when I touch area to apply med.
