I Suddenly Thrust My Arm Forward To Catch A Falling

I suddenly thrust my arm forward to catch a falling object; felt a sharp radiating pain from the joint of my shoulder down through the bicep. Since then I feel some impingement in the rotation of the shoulder and definite weakness in that shoulder. What do you think?
