I Suffer From Heartburn. I Now Feel Like There Is

I suffer from heartburn. I now feel like there is a permanent lump or heaviness right between my breast, where the end of the breast bone is. I take Tums and just started taking Pepto Bismol. I am 64 and take no medication (usually). I like natural remedies but I am open to a permanent solution to this. Thank you.
