I Suffered An Extreme Bacterial Infection In Late August Of

I suffered an extreme bacterial infection in late August of 2001. It took an ER visit to finally get somewhat of a diagnosis.... a benign paroxysmal, high blood sugar 353 glucose reading(I had extreme lethargy, bulging eyes, sinus infection, hurtful kidneys, hurtful muscles all over, dry heaves, nausea, an all over headache, and a sudden headache and extreme lethargy even before the ER visit. The terrible bacterial infection was not found in the ER vist---symptoms were becoming worse and with three more doctor visits at a major medical facility, I finally put the foot down with an ENT doctor and he gave me after my urging him, Clindamycin, which treats terrible bacterial infections. That diagnosis was not found at all in the first place in the ER visit on that late August day of 2001. As I inquire to you my Central Nervous System has also been affected the whole time (16 years now). I'm also told by an Endocrinologist that a bad bacterial Infection can leave me Diabetic. I have thought all these years "if I really am Diabetc Type II or Central Nervous System/Metabolic syndrome." I have been on Regular Insulin since September 2009. Before that I was sort of a guinea pig on Glucotrol, and Gluco Avance. Blood tests were done in the ER visit, but the bacterial infection was NOT found---it took seven weeks later to get help from an ENT doctor. THIS IS A LOT FOR YOU TO DIVULGE INTO, but absolutely true as what happened to me. OH! I forgot another major diagnosis of CHRONIC VERTIGO found about three months later December, 2001. I will always suffer that. That was the lethargy in the original ER visit... it seems a lot was missed in the very first ER visit. At My latest Endo, visit it was recommended I take my original Lantus Insulin and also, NOVOLOG. 26 units of Lantus, and 3 u. of the Novolog. The added Novolog "seems" to cause irritation in the stomach, if I just take Lantus at 30 Units/day as was prescribed by my original Endo. Seems to do me way better, but the new Endo. says, "since I'm 15 years a Type II Diabetic, it would be time to add Novolog too." Pay attention to what I have said above in the whole matter.
