I Suffered From What I Can Only Describe As Pixalated

I suffered from what I can only describe as pixalated vision - little black dots covering entire field of view - for some time following a stroke about eighteen months ago. it cleared after several days and what with my other problems it got rather neglected as a symptom. Could you enlighten me on this?
