I Take Mercilon Birth Control. I Am Due To Start

I take Mercilon birth control. I am due to start my 7 day no-pill period on October 18. However, I have a major work event on October 19, and would rather delay my period until after that. Can I continue to take Mercilon until the 19th, and then stop for my period?
