I Take Ortho Tri-Cyclen Birth Control I Have Missed 4

I take Ortho Tri-Cyclen birth control I have missed 4 pills this month 2-1 week and 2 another and I had breakthrough bleeding last week now it's time for my inactive pills and my period. I started bleeding yesterday and now I'm not. Is that normal or should I take a pregnancy test to make sure I'm not pregnant
